Jumping Frames Dance Video Festival: Beijing
Jumping Frames Dance Video Festival: Beijing is comprised of four parts: the Opening and Closing Masterpiece Films, featuring Coffee With Pina by Israeli director Lee Yanor, revealing scenes behind the rehearsal room of tanztheater guru Pina Bausch, and an earlier film by French director, Chantal Akerman, entitled One Day Pina Asked Me, a journey with Pina Bausch through a European performance tour. The Competition Section showcases works selected from over 100 entries from all over the world. The Hong Kong Dance Video Showcase will screen Jumping Frames’ commissioned works and the China Dance Video Showcase presenting the most interesting dance videos created by the driving force of the field in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
